Matching Cards

Simple cards to help parents with developing their child's lifetime skills

Assisting you with visual, audio, tactile, mental, 'everyday ~ everything ~ educational'.

Retired teachers ~ working with others ~ are preparing tangible aids and ideas, to help time-stretched parents and guardians. These resources are available on this and other of our related sites.

We shall use the generic word 'coaches' to cover the range of tutors and teachers as our intended audience. Recpients of this coaching support are titled as 'explorers'.

The range of matching cards is under development. Those that are available are listed below. They have been given the names of rivers.

For our laziness and convenience we tend to use the names of short rivers: [dart] [elbe] [tavy] . There is no relevance the geography ~ or anything else ~ associated with any of the rivers chosen.

The Usk Set of matching cards

A Usk cards are designed for the very earliest pre-play school explorers and their coach. They consist of the ten digits: each presented in the three most common ways. The set is designed to last for several years ~ from learning about 'one' and 'two' to the correct spelling 'eight'. Further details are available [usk], and the set is also available to all [sale].
